Part 1 – is to explain ONE the of the following two arguments in your own words.
-The Princess Elizabeth Argument for physicalism
-The Mary Argument (a.k.a. the Knowledge Argument) for dualism
Part 2 – is to raise an objection to the argument you explained, i.e. to come up with a reason for thinking that it fails to prove its conclusion (either that dualism is true for the Mary argument, or that physicalism is true for the Princess Elizabeth argument). To be clear, I do NOT expect or want you to do any research for this. Simply do your best to come up with an objection on your own. Be creative! (Your objection does not have to be successful for you to get all of the points – it just has to be reasonable and clearly written).
