You need to submit a power point presentation (20 to 22 slides) and Summary (600 words) of a technical paper.
Details of Summary.
The summary should provide in depth description and analysis of the paper. Each summary should have the following content when appropriate:
Motivation and background. What is the problem that the authors attempt to solve? Why is this problem important? Has this problem being dicussed or addressed before?
Key contributions. Summarize the main points of the paper. What is their approach and how is it original and innovative? How is the appoach evaluated? What are the results and impact of the research? Please keep in mind, you do not have answer these questions. They may not be even relevant for some papers. They are just here for general guidelines.
Your Evaluations. What are the strengths and weaknesses of the paper? What constructive criticism can you give to the author(s)?
Each summary should be about 500-600 words in length (no more than 800 words please). Your summary will be submitted via SafeAssign feature of the Blackboard. “SafeAssign compares submitted assignments against a set of academic papers to identify areas of overlap between the submitted assignment and existing works.” For an eligible submission, the matching score should be below 25%.
