Part I:Based on Weeks #4 & #5 readings, lectures, and assignments, you are designing the Historical BedRoom for your client. Research and take notes on the following:Furniture
Accessories
Interior design details and finishes (flooring, walls, lighting, etc.)
Architectural details and shapes (ceiling, windows, etc.)
Organize and submit your findings in PDF file.
Part II:Based on research from Part I, select the following for your client’s BedRoom:Floor finish(es)
Wall finish(es) NOTE: pay attention to details of this time period!
Ceiling finish(es)
Bed (1 minimum, but you are welcome to do more if your client is designing bedroom for siblings, twins, triplets, etc.)
Lighting (2 items minimum)
Other furniture items (3 different items minimum)
Accessories (4 different items minimum, one of which can be window treatments)
You will need to save images of each of the above and add a short description of how this item “meets” the style. Arrange all of the above on “mood board” and submit in JPEG or PDF format.
