Children have certain constitutional rights at adjudication, but they do not have the right to a trial by jury. Should a trial by jury be allowed in juvenile court? Why or why not? A jury panel consists of a “jury of one’s peers”. If you stated that juveniles should have a right to a jury trial, would the jury be juveniles or adults? Discuss.
