Executive white papers are used to provide persuasive and factual evidence plus an Executive Summary to educate a particular audience, like your executive team. The Executive summary of the white paper provides a concise overview of the paper’s contents, including the problem description, the solution or solutions, and the recommendation, if there is one.
A white paper is a research-based report that offers a focused description of a complex topic and presents the point of view of the author (you!) or body represented by the author. The purpose of a white paper is to give readers an understanding of an issue, which in turn helps them solve a problem or make a decision.
Presenting an idea to your boss or management team can offer you a chance to change a standardized practice or make the workplace more efficient. Approaching them with a plan in place can maximize your chances of successfully presenting your idea. Using a template can help you present your idea in a format that’s easy to understand so they listen to and comprehend your ideas.
Ideas and projects benefit greatly from deliberate organization, especially when presenting them to your team. When things are organized and presented well, they’re easier to understand and seem more professional. A template can help you arrange ideas into a presentable format. Use the template idea/layout below to help create your executive paper.
[Introduction: State what you are going to discuss, why you are going to discuss it, and the types of information you will present.]

[Part two: Elaborate on your proposed solution and include charts, graphs, or supporting documents. If you have spoken to your team members and gained useful information from them, you can include that here.]
