If you would like to try to raise your grade, then the best thing you could do at this point is do your citations properly for the second paper. This means that you need to put in page numbers for each citation, not just cite the name of the author and the year of the publication. If you re-do your citations to do this, plus use the Smith piece which you neglected to use, then I can raise the grade of the second paper.
